UK Rock Chart adalah chart untuk peringkat penjualan terbesar singel yang dirilis dengan genre rock di Inggris. Chart disusun oleh The Official UK Charts Company,[1] dan didasarkan pada penjualan singel baik fisik dan digital. 17 singel yang berbeda mencapai tempat nomor satu selama 2010.

"Closer to the Edge" dari 30 Seconds to Mars memiliki rekor minggu paling dihabiskan di tempat nomor satu selama 2010, itu tetap di puncak selama 8 minggu berturut-turut, berjalan dari 11 Juli-28 Agustus, juga pada nomor 44 di UK Singles Chart. Rekor sebelumnya dipegang oleh band Amerika The Pretty Reckless yang tetap di posisi teratas selama tujuh minggu berturut-turut dengan "Make Me Wanna Die"

UK Rock Chart dimulai dengan kelanjutan dari Rage Against The Machine mendominasi chart itu. Single tetap di nomor 1 selama dua minggu pada tahun 2009 dan kemudian 2 minggu pada tahun 2010, sebelum digantikan oleh "Where We Belong" dari band Wales Lostprophets, yang memuncak selama 4 minggu dari 17 Januari sampai 14 Februari.

Pada tanggal 14 Februari, "Iris" dari Goo Goo Dolls kembali ke posisi teratas-sekali lagi, awalnya memuncak pada nomor 1 kembali pada Mei 2009. Single tetap di puncak selama dua minggu sebelum digantikan oleh Resistance dari band Inggris Muse. Single ini kembali ke posisi teratas untuk ketiga kalinya (kedua kalinya pada tahun 2010) di 21 Maret, sehingga jumlah minggu di puncak untuk empat.

Pada bulan September, Linkin Park memegang tempat nomor satu selama tiga minggu dengan The Catalyst. Dari 13 November sampai 11 Desember, My Chemical Romance adalah nomor satu dengan Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na). Pada tanggal 25 Desember, The Darkness mengambil nomor satu akhir tahun dengan Christmas Time (Don't Let the Bells End).
